RSPCA WA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) has been a voice for animals in Western Australia for over 120 years.
Our mission is to prevent cruelty to animals in Western Australia by actively promoting their care and protection.
Every year we rescue, care for and rehome thousands of animals that have been lost, abandoned, injured, or abused.
Our Inspectors have the power to protect all animals from abuse, neglect, and abandonment, including prosecuting people under State's Animal Welfare Act 2002.
We also run a popular and very succesul Puppy and Dog training program.

Inspectors and Cruelty Complaints
RSPCA WA is a charity, not a government agency. We rely on your donations to continue our lifesaving work. You can also help RSPCA WA in many other ways.
Become a member and help us speak up for those who cannot speak or defend themselves.
The Society is governed by a Board elected from and by its members. The 2013 RSPCA AGM will be held at the RSPCA in Malaga in late October.
Inspectorate and Animal Cruelty
Right across the state, our Inspectors, protect animals from cruelty and neglect rhgouth education, and, when necessary, enforcing the State's Animal Welfare Act 2002. RSPCA has 7 metropolitan Inspectors as well as Inspectors in Albany, Bunbury, Geraldton and Kalgoorlie.
Education is the key to reducing the amount of animal cruelty and neglect we see in the community.
Our Community Education team visits educational institutions, community groups and events throughout Western Australia, and provides education on a range of animal care, safety and welfare issues, as well as running a very popular school holiday program.
Animal Care Centre (PAWSCENTRAL)
The Animal Care Centre cares for more than 2000 animals each year.
The Centre rehomes dogs and cats, and has facilities for 'pocket pets', birds, horses and livestock.
We provide veterinary services for RSPCA animals only as we are not a licensed veterinary clinic.
The facility also provides Pound services for several local Councils, but is unable to accept stray animals, which legally must be dealt with by Council Rangers.
RSPCA WA has ten Auxiliaries in Western Australia, which support the organisation’s work through fundraising and awareness activities. Auxiliaries in country WA also have animal re-homing and foster care programs, and also provide support to their local inspector.
