The TV just cannot get enough of our models!Beautiful models readying for "fabulous" Million Paws launch in Perth

14 April 2009

The adverts have begun, the countdown has started and on Friday Million Paws Walk will get its official launch at Perth’s Central Park in the CBD.

As well as officially opening registrations for the event, RSPCA staff will be staging this year’s Million Paws Fashion Show with Perth’s most beautiful pets clamoring for a chance to bathe in the glory as the red carpet is rolled out.

“Every year we have some of the State’s most beautiful dogs applying to take part in the fashion parade,” said Richard Barry, spokesperson for the RSPCA in WA. “Thousands are disappointed because we take this very seriously but it’s not all about looks!

“The models taking part in this year’s fashion parade are some of the most down-to-earth yet talented pooches in Australia and all of them want to make the world a better place, represent ‘doggy-kind’ and, of course, achieve World Peace.

“These top-class competitors are celebrities in their own right and it has to be said that they are competing at the very top-of-their-game in Central Park this coming Friday.”

The event will also be attended Eagles superstar Brent Staker and WA’s very own Iron Woman Candice Falzon. Both stars will be lending their aesthetic appeal to the fashion show by walking the dogs down the red carpet.

“Yes, it’s probably the most beautiful day in Perth’s annual schedule” said Mr. Barry. “Beautiful dogs, beautiful people. Frankly one would be hard pushed to have a more beautiful afternoon… Perth’s CBD really is the place to be this coming Friday between 12pm-2pm and if you are planning to attend this year’s Million Paws Walk, there’s no better place to start!”
