Magnus needs your help

RSPCA WA is calling for information to reunite a long lost dog with his original owner.

Kalgoorlie RSPCA WA Inspector Brown found Magnus, an eight year old German Shepherd Rottie cross, abandoned and locked in a little backyard in South Kalgoorlie.

“When checking Magnus over, I discovered he was microchipped as a puppy but unfortunately I have been unable to find the owner,” Inspector Brown said.

“What I have discovered is that Magnus has been missing from his original home for four years and that his owner continued to search for him well after he went missing.

“It would be great to reunite Magnus with his first owner as his nature and behaviour shows he is a well-trained and cared for dog who knows commands and tricks.

“If you recognise Magnus or know the original owner whose first name is Mile please contact the RSPCA on 1300 278 3589 so we can reunite these long lost best friends.

“I would really love to be able to tell Mile that Magnus is alive and doing OK,” Inspector Brown said.
