5 pet-friendly cafes you should definitely visit this summer

Combining two of our favourite things – coffee and dogs, these pet-friendly cafes are some of Perth’s tastiest. They’re best enjoyed while the sun is shining, so grab the lead and get out there!

The Orange Box, Leighton Beach

Enjoy a quick dip, then tasty breakfast with your doggy date. The beach right in front of the café isn’t dog-friendly, but the Mosman-Leighton Dog Beach is just a 10-minute walk east.

Furbaby Café, Westminster

When there’s a whole page on the menu dedicated to ‘doggy treats’, you know you’ve found your “people”. Dubbed Australia’s first human-friendly dog café, they serve breakfast, lunch and yummy cakes and slices.

The Little Pantry, Subiaco

Sleep in! You’ve got until 2pm to catch all-day breakfast and some sun in the garden courtyard. Pooch-friendly access is through the back lane.

Slate Café, Swan Valley

Is your dog a social media star? Behold the fourth most Instagrammable café in Australia. There’s a doggy playground, and breed-themed playdates – don’t worry, they haven’t forgotten the mixed breeds.

The Little Banksia, South Perth

This hidden gem is across the road from Kensington Primary School. The menu is seasonal and available all day, and the courtyard is paw-fect for doggy dining.

All the restaurant’s and cafe’s on Dolphin Quay Marina, Mandurah. Everyone takes their dogs there as long as you sit on the out side tables. Which is the best place to sit with or without a dog.
