More than 70 animals found living in filthy conditions

RSPCA Inspectors today seized more than 70 animals from a property in the outskirts of Perth. The animals included sheep, dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs and rabbits. Some of the animals were left with no food or water and were wallowing in filthy conditions.

Woman fined and banned after cats locked in truck

A Greenmount woman was today found guilty of animal cruelty in Fremantle Magistrates Court, and received a 10-year ban and was fined $3000. She was also ordered to pay $5000 to the RSPCA in boarding and veterinary costs and more than $1200 in court costs.
