A husband and wife from the Shire of Murray were both found guilty of animal cruelty offences in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on Wednesday (3 October 2018). They were each fined $4000, and each had legal and care costs of $7000 awarded against them. They have also been banned from being in charge of any horse for a year.

A 43 year old man has pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and was sentenced in Perth Magistrates Court today. The charge relates to his dog, Bully, a bull mastiff, who died after being left in a parked car in Balga in January this year.

A Merriwa man has pleaded guilty to two counts of animal cruelty and was sentenced in Joondalup Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 5 September, 2018. The charges related to his dogs, Max and Marley, who were seized by a RSPCA Inspector in May, 2017.

A 38 year old woman has been found guilty of three counts of animal cruelty and sentenced today in Mandurah Magistrates Court. The charges relate to two horses and a foal found on her Waroona property in March 2016

A box of puppies has been found, dumped near Narrogin Creek in Narrogin, 190km south east of Perth. RSPCA is appealing for any information about the puppies or their mother.

RSPCA WA and WA Police are appealing for information about a dog found mutilated on Waterside Drive in Dudley Park, Mandurah, on 21 July 2018. The dog was found with a deep laceration around the circumference of its torso and abrasions on its face and paws.
