RSPCA WA Community Action Days are free events where local communities can get together to meet RSPCA Inspectors, local Rangers, local vets, animal rescue organisations and dog trainers.
Through these events, we aim to show people how to be a responsible pet owner and that includes providing information about common problems like fleas, worms, ticks, fly bitten ears, mange, shelter, food and water. We work with rangers to explain pet registrations and local council laws, and there are vets available to give free advice and check-ups.

Hobby farmers, small landholders including owners of chickens, sheep, cattle, horses and goats and livestock producers, are urged to check water quantity and quality during this week’s heat wave. Generally, healthy livestock may tolerate a range of temperatures. However, during periods of extreme heat they require added care from shade, shelter and plenty of clean water to stay healthy.
